Antigüedades Linares is the oldest antiquary in Spain. Following decades dedicated to the arts business, the Linares family set up its first gallery in Granada in 1883, within the site of the Alhambra. It later opened up shops in leading cities in Spain.
The business is now run by the fifth generation of the family, and is still an independent gallery. We are specialised in antique paintings, sculptures and furniture from the 14th to 18th centuries, with special emphasis on the Spanish school.
Throughout its history, Antigüedades Linares has contributed enormously to the formation of some of the most important private and public art collections not only in Spain but throughout the world, and has collaborated with many different museums and institutions. The gallery is currently located in the heart of the Madrid art sector, with facilities which allow you to comfortably and discreetly visit an important collection of pieces.
In November 2011 Antigüedades Linares opened under the name Linares Gallery a private showroom in Brussels located at the prestigious Sablon. The presence in the ‘heart of Europe’ shall further strengthen the relationship with the gallery’s international clients.
